ENTIRE HISTORY OF C++

"C Plus plus" language is an extension of "C" language means "C plus plus" is superset of "C".
"C Plus plus" includes the concept of "c" language as well as some additional concepts which "C" language not contained.
"C plus plus" language is represented by "C++".
"C++" means Increment in "C" language.
"C++" is developed by Bjarne Stroustrup at AT and T BELLS laboratory in USA in earlys 1980.
Initially "C plus plus" name is "C WITH CLASSES" and this name is changed in 1983 and new name given to "c plus plus" is "c++" which is used till date.
It has more wide applications then "c" language.
"C++" is combination of two languages i.e 'Simula 67' and 'C' .


"Simula language" uses the concept of class. That is why its early name is "c with classes".
Thus we have to say that c++ is an object oriented language.
In c++ we use 48 keywords but after the development of "ANSI" compiler which provide 16 additional keywords so total keyword used in c++ is 64.
KEYWORDS are the reserve words whose meanings is self understood to compiler.
